With more than 30 years of experience scaling digital advertising businesses globally — including senior roles at Yahoo, Blis and Seedtag — Paul has built commercial organisations across multiple international markets while challenging the conventional thinking that often limits innovation in the industry.
Paul is a vocal critic of the data-first and price-driven dogma that has drained creativity from digital advertising. He believes that algorithms alone deliver average results and little competitive advantage. Instead, the brands succeeding in Africa, the Gulf, Southeast Asia and Central Europe are those with strong creative ideas and meaningful stories to tell.
He leads a 90-person global commercial team and believes the best media strategies start with creativity rather than targeting. His approach combines people, culture and technology to create advertising that is memorable and effective.
